Comments: This enormous blue shark was taken on a Penn 9/0 reel, with Berkley Big Game line after a 50 minute fight. Ms. Sexton has applied to the IGFA for a women's 130# line class world's record. The current women IGFA 130# class record is 334 pounds taken off of Rockport MA in September 1964. The fish is the leader in the women's division of the Mass Saltwater Governor's Cup for blue shark.



400 lb Blue Fin Tuna

On January 3, 2004 I was Blue Fin Tuna Fishing 25 miles east of the Beaufort Inlet. We hooked a large Blue Fin Tuna using a Penn International II IGFA 30lb class (15K) 1560 ARA mounted with a Penn International II 30tw reel. I gave the rod and reel to the angler, Wayne Hoskins for a wall mount keepsake.
